This is my other wife Dana. It was about two weeks after Angel and I got married, that Angel mentioned that she had been dating another woman for some time. I told her that I thought this was great. She laughed at me, thinking that I was a typical guy going “whoo hoo! two women!” Well, I will tell you my thoughts were actually a bit more selfish than that. I was thinking… “This is great! There will be someone else besides me that can devote their time to Angel. Whew!”
So, I met Dana and the first night we hung out, we hit it off. We got along so well that the three of us went out shopping for a bed that would fit us all sleeping. We made a makeshift solution with a king and queen sized bed put together for us to sleep in.
Dana is the love of my life. Don’t get me wrong, I love Angel to death, but I have a special connection with her. (at least she makes me think I do.) We have had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, we’re solid.
Dana and I have had our issues, initially she was only a part of our relationship for a few months. She decided that she needed to get some stuff out of her system and figure out life for her for a bit. I knew at some time our path’s would cross again and hopefully we’d be back together again.
It did not take long. She was gone for just over a year and contacted us just as we were moving back to Las Vegas from Sunnyvale, CA. We flew her up and she help us move back and she moved back in herself. That was six years ago and our relationship has just gotten better and better.
It’s not easy being with two women for any period of time. I have told people that have asked.. “How do you do it?” that if you think that it’s hard being with one person in a relationship, it’s exponentially harder. The key is to being honest, about everything, period. No matter whether you think the truth will hurt the other person, you must be honest.
