I am watching this movie “Akeehla and the Bee” about a girl going to the National Spelling Bee. I heard this quote that hit home to me and I needed to blog it.

It goes:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? - Marianne Williamson

I have long known that I am capable of doing anything, as I believe anyone is as well.  Sometimes, I wonder why I am not as successful as I know I can be.  Don’t get me wrong, I live a comfortable existence and have many things that I am happy is in my life.  However, at times, I feel I am not doing things at my peak potential.  At times, I feel I am holding myself back.

I know it sounds odd, but I think this quote hit home for me.  I am afraid of success.  I am afraid of the responsibility that goes with it.  I need to get over it.

    Joe and family,

I hate to see your family leave Las Vegas but do wish you guys only the best in wherever life takes you. I have enjoyed every minute of the time I was able to spend with you (as little as it has been) and the interactions with each of you.

In my view, you each are positive people focused individuals, and will be successful in whatever path you ultimately take.

Please keep in touch. Each of yoou have touched me and many others with your open non-judgemental friendship.

    Your friend,

    J

To me there are three things everyone should do every day. Number one is laugh. Number two is think — spend some time time in thought. Number three, you should have your emotions move you to tears. If you laugh, think and cry, that’s a heck of a day.
