As some of you know, I am an avid MMO player. I been playing major online games since before they were called MMO’s. I played Meridian 59, UO, EQ, Earth and Beyond, SWG, EQ2, DDO, and others.
I gotta say tho I loaded up EVE online the other day and am liking it a lot. Reminds me of Earth and Beyond but on crack. I tried playing EVE before. I just couldn’t get into it. This latest iteration “Revelations” is a much better game. I was finally able to get past the tutorial. I activated two accounts and set one up for Jens.
It’s a pretty complex game set in space in the far future. It’s a vast set of star systems to explore. It seems to have everything that will appeal to most people. (if they can get past the complexity) You can mine, fight, trade, form corporations, etc…
