It’s the longest running Sci-fi show to date. We need more Sci-Fi not less!!!
I remember initially, that I did not want to watch the show. I was one of those that felt it took away from the original movie in a big way. But, my wife Dana was an avid fan, and I got hooked around season 5 or 6.
When they started coming out on DVD, I remember that I went and bought all the back seasons. Call me a freak, but I watched all of Season one in one 19 hourish sitting. I watched season two in two sittings. I was hooked after that.
At least they are picking up Stargate: Atlantis for a 4th season.
